The Zoe Trust works alongside Misty Meadows, a school on a farm in Howick. This multi-cultural school has an organic learning pedagogy which creates a child-led environment. Three of our sponsored children attend the school and we set up and finance their computer learning. Trustees Emily Young and Hannah Webb have spent time working alongside Cassie Janisch, the school’s founder, to both learn and enhance the school’s teaching methodologies. The Zoe Trust has also embarked on a fabulous new initiative with the school: the creation of a workshop where children can learn woodwork, engineering and metalwork skills.
